Terrain and slopes: check before you buy

An honest answer beats a fast sale.

We haven't published a hill (grade) rating for the WorkWagon yet. Instead of guessing, here's how to describe your property so we can give you a straight answer.

What to check

  • The steepest slope you'd haul up or down — especially while loaded.
  • Surfaces: grass, gravel, packed dirt, sand, mud, snow.
  • Wet seasons: spring thaw and fall rain change everything.
  • Your narrowest gate or path (it needs more than 800 mm / 31.5 in).

Estimating a slope

Lay a 1 m (or 3 ft) level on the slope, lift the low end until it's level, and measure the gap. Divide the gap by the length to get the grade: a 10 cm gap over 1 m is a 10% grade.

Then ask us

Send us your slope estimates, surfaces, and typical loads through the form below. We'll tell you honestly whether the WorkWagon fits.
