On our own farm in Onaway, the wagon earns its keep on the small, constant jobs: feed to the barn, water to the pens, compost to the beds, harvest back to the wash station. It's not a tractor and doesn't pretend to be. It's the thing you reach for forty times a day.
The hauling jobs it handles
Feed and bedding runs
Move bags of feed, straw, and shavings from storage to stalls and coops without hauling them by hand.
Market garden harvest
Bring crates in from the rows to the wash and pack area, and carry tools and drip supplies back out.
Compost and amendments
Shuttle compost, mulch, and soil amendments across the property between piles and beds.
Fencing and repair days
Keep posts, wire, tools, and fasteners with you as you work down the fence line.
Tools to the far corners
When the farm is spread out, bring chainsaws, trimmers, and hand tools along instead of carrying them back and forth.
