An electric cart for lakefront and dock hauling

From the cottage to the water, and back up again.

Northern Michigan lake life means a lot of carrying: coolers down to the dock, boat batteries up for winter, dock sections in spring and fall. The path between the house and the water is where all of it happens.

Why this job is harder than it should be

Waterfront paths are often long, uneven, and sloped. Hand carts and wheelbarrows tip, and vehicles can't reach the shoreline.

How the WorkWagon helps

Heavy gear, one trip

Marine batteries, coolers, and fuel cans fit together within the 800 kg (1,764 lb) rating.

Dock-in, dock-out days

Shuttle dock sections, hardware, and boat-lift gear in fewer trips.

Easier on the lawn

At 170 kg (375 lb), it's far lighter on grass than a vehicle.

Electric and quiet

No fuel smell or engine noise down by the water.

Common questions

Can it go down to the beach?

It depends on the slope and sand. Soft sand and steep bluffs are hard for any wheeled cart. Describe your path and we'll be honest about fit.

Can it get wet?

A weather-resistance rating isn't published yet. Keep it out of standing water; water submersion is excluded from the warranty.

Can it carry dock sections?

Yes, within the 800 kg (1,764 lb) rating. Longer sections overhang the 1,500 mm (59.1 in) deck — strap them and balance the load.
